Variations …

The sounds of Thailand fill my ears from when I awake until I fall asleep. I prefer the natural sounds of the jungle. More varieties of birds than I can count, squirrels, and other wildlife, chirping and chattering away, singing their songs of life.

Then there are the quiet ones. Snakes, butterflies, spiders, a zillion varieties of insects, moving and dancing to a jungle symphony. All of this takes place with a backdrop of intense color. A thousand shades of green, brilliant reds, yellows and shades of orange.

I enjoy the morning light, often with cloud cover, the vegetation damp from an evening tropical rain. The already intense color becoming more so, each plant screaming - me, me, make a photo of me! Oh how I try, but I can’t, there are just too many. I grow weary from trying, and return to my morning coffee in Thailand.
